DEADLY ACCIDENT: Woman Not Wearing Seat Belt When Jaguar Crashes

The Iowa State Patrol said Linda Shea wasn’t wearing a seatbelt when she drove her Jaguar around 4:30 Saturday afternoon. The patrol’s report said Shea, a 65-year-old woman from Atlantic, traveled southbound on County Road N16 in Cass County.

The report shows Shea spun out of control for some reason on the road, slid sideways and hit a metal bridge guard rail. The momentum carried her vehicle into a ditch before stopping in a small ravine.

Shea died at the crash site.
